Worth its Wait (24"x 20")

Description:

Worth its Wait captures one of those fleeting moments that makes standing around with a camera worthwhile. After waiting beneath a moody, overcast sky, a brief break in the clouds allowed sunlight to illuminate Carcoar Railway Station, transforming the historic old building and making those hours of waiting feel almost worth their weight in gold.

Painted in an impressionistic style, the vivid sunlight contrasts with the brooding sky, while crackly winter grasses, weeds and an old gate lead the eye towards the station. A small moment of light, patiently waited for.
