This piece captures a quiet yet extraordinary moment: a high, luminous moon encircled by a faint, glowing ring—an atmospheric phenomenon rarely noticed, let alone painted. Set against a deep black sky, the ring radiates with subtle light, drawing the viewer into the stillness of night. As in the other works in the series, a narrow band of silhouetted land anchors the composition at the bottom, suggesting a simple, grounded viewpoint—almost childlike in its clarity.
