Fifteen Minutes (8"x 8")

This is an Alla Prima oil painting of a humble can of Campbell's soup on a white background. The paintings name refers to a quote attributed to Andy Warhol- 'In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.' This was in 1968. Today I live in that future with social media etc making the quote a reality. If I were to make a similar quote I would say - 'In the near future, everyone will be filmed 24/7. Famous or not.'
