I’m new to making movies. This video is part of my learning and experimental process of filming and editing. Just a bit of fun and lots of learning in the making of this one. This is Mungbean, an ex Australian Army series 3 Land Rover. My old Land Rover is an essential piece of kit for my art practice. I drive it almost every day. It doesn’t go anywhere fast but it can go just about anywhere. Like all Landy’s, Mungbean has his own rich history and if it could talk, could tell stories of adventure, misadventure, family trips, adversity, conversations, journeys, places etc etc. Many of those stories are recorded as dents and scratches, paint touch ups and creative mechanical solutions. I hope to share many future adventures with Mungbean and maybe show you why these amazing vehicles are given names of their own.
