New meets old to create a practical solution, helping to make a fun video. It cost next to nothing and secures the camera for an uninterrupted driving perspective.
This is my first video and I had so much fun making it. I have always wanted to know how to make movies and this is that one giant step that puts thoughts into actions. I have already learned so much from making this.
About the zip tie mount. Although it doesn’t feature in this video, it is essential part of the film making. I got the idea after googling DIY car camera mounts and watched a video of a guy making the mount. So then I made my own, ran outside, threw it on the brush bar of my Land Rover and then went for a spin. Then I waded through the editing programme and the upload process and that’s about it.
I chose the music because it is called ‘Shetland’ which is where my name Isbester comes from. The Shetland Islands. I wonder if any of my relatives from the Shetlands recognise it.
