Description
This is an original ‘plein air’ painting with a view of Mt. Nangar, through some bush and farm land. The interesting tree in the scene reminded me of Albert Namatjira paintings. An early influence of mine.

‘Looking back in Nangar’ is an original plein air oil painting on Stretched Australian made canvas. 40cm x 40cm (16″x 16″)
Whilst exploring a property where I was to do a painting, I came across this little scene. And the name I stole from the song ‘Wonderwall’. This is the type of landscape I love. This painting has a a certain influence from paintings I viewed as a child by Albert Namatjira.
Comes framed with ethically sourced Australian plantation solid Oak.
