‘Light Post’ is a plein air original oil painting on Belgian linen panel. 8×6 inches. This is the third plein air painting on the street I have done in Canowindra, my home town. ! I have lived here over 20 years and painted 100’s of streetscapes of the town as studio paintings. So I am really pleased to have overcome whatever obstacle was preventing me from just getting out and doing some. ‘Light Post’ is the 3rd of a series of three 8×6 paintings standing in the street. The name of the painting comes from the subject of the painting containing the Post Office in the middle and also there is a light post in the painting as well .
