Description
‘Longs Corner Reserve’ is a plein air painting of some trees standing in the Australian bush. The location of the Longs Corner Reserve is between Toogong and Eugowra but not so far from Toogong. There is a nice variety of trees and so a great place to go painting. I wouldn’t call it a forest but it is bushland with a healthy amount of trees there. The reserve is what is known here as a travelling stock reserve. From time to time Cattle and sheep farmers are forced to go droving as they have run out of feed for their stock. These reserves are found at regular intervals along country roads and give the drovers an opportunity to rest their stock and also themselves. They are also a great place to find nature doing its thing.
