This is a 2 minute movie about a visit to the Belubula River not far up stream from Junction Reefs in the central west of NSW. The actual place is called Bakers Shaft Reserve and is a great place to go for a picnic or camping. For us it was a chance to unwind and tune in to those rhythmic sounds of river, birds and insects
My aim now is to go bush as much as possible. And in doing so, inspire as many other people as I can to do the same. I’ll be using the hashtags #getoutside and #livingthedream as my motivational moto’s in an attempt at reversing the trend in our lives to stay inside, and observe life through our devices, TVs , smart phones and computers. It isn’t an accident that it is known as the ‘net’, ‘web’ or worse ‘on line’ as though we are tethered to a screen.
It does take a bit of effort, it is a daily challenge for me, but I encourage you. Get out there. It is worth every second.
